I stopped in for lunch today and got the Hawaiian roll and the Jalapeño popper roll - both were incredible! Also, I got to meet the owner, Jackie who was incredibly nice and helpful in choosing which rolls to go with. I'll be back for sure...especially since their new hours have them open later now! Really good ratio of Fish to Rice, so great value… Tuna Roll is the bomb! Overall good food, good price, and casual setting.
I came here about a week ago with my best friend just to have a calm night for ourselves. we put our orders down and ate and wanted more food. when i asked the waiter (some white girl id say in her late teens or early 20’s) she straight up just said “no” to my face. i thought she was joking with me but no she just said no to me and processed to leave to get my check. i never did get an explanation on why neither have i been to a restaurant or even sushi place that refused to put more food in for me. never will i come back.
Did take out for our first try if this place. Everything was delicious. Flavorful, fun, and fresh. Ordered: Garden roll, BBQ Salmon roll, Las Vegas roll, cherry blossom roll, and the Good Mood roll*. For 2 people who can put away sushi, we couldn’t finish our order. We basically had 1.5 rolls left. I definitely want to come back! *I originally thought this was the Garden Roll bc it had veggies and so much fish. But i remember I ordered the good mood roll. It was my favorite! Whoever did the Good Mood rolls on Halloween, please make it a staple.

Despite living 45 minutes away, the drive is more than worth it for the exceptional dining experience Hon Machi Sushi provides. We will undoubtedly return again and again, eagerly looking forward to each visit.
