My friend and I had an amazing experience getting our tattoos done by Flex. We asked for a custom design for a small, fine-line tattoo and the design he made surpassed our expectations. When we arrived, we asked for some modifications and he was happy to make them for us. It was my friend's first tattoo and Flex's warm, kind, and professional demeanor made the experience comfortable and fun for both of us. The tattoo is beautiful! We're very happy with the results and our experience. We were visiting NOLA and Flex even recommended spots to check out for music and food. Highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience at this tattoo parlor with Josh Corlin as my artist. From the very beginning, he was incredibly accommodating. He helped my partner and me schedule our appointment six months in advance without any hassle. Josh is extremely knowledgeable and offered great advice and insight throughout the entire process, which made us feel comfortable and confident in our designs. His work is truly fantastic. The level of detail and precision he puts into each piece is remarkable, and the final results exceeded our expectations. On top of that, his prices were very reasonable for the quality and care he provides. If you're looking for an artist who is talented, professional, and genuinely dedicated to his craft, I can't recommend Josh highly enough. We'll definitely be back if we are ever in NOLA again.
Being born/raised in TX but have my family's roots in NOLA I wanted a tattoo to represent the 2 states together without just having just having the state outlines. I worked with Flex and he designed my idea perfectly. He was even able to get some fine detailing in, even though the size was a bit small. ( I only like "trinket" tattoos ) Regardless, Flex nailed it and I will absolutely will return for more work with him.

We had a group of 6 coming into NOLA from a cruise and wanted to get a group tattoo. I reached out to Flex about a month prior and set up an appointment and he made sure to have 3 artists in that day so we wouldn't tie up our whole day. We ended up by the shop about an hour early and they got us started right away. They had a great stencil made based on some reference art I had sent. They had the 6 of us in and out in about an hour and half. All 3 artists were nice, professional and gave us exactly what we wanted. The shop is located at one end of Magazine St which is a fun district of shops and restaurants outside the French Quarter and is worth checking out on its own.
