This is a cozy place to enjoy some delicious Japanese food. The staff is friendly, which is always a plus.
Really great sushi restaurant! We sat at the sushi bar and the chef made us a “taster” like the old days! Super fast food - we were starving and it took less than 10 minutes for our first rolls to arrive. Very fresh fish and great service! Can’t ask for much more than that 👏👏👏
The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with attentive and friendly service. However, I found that the food didn't meet our expectations. The hibachi dishes are prepared in the back and brought out, so there’s no traditional hibachi grill experience. The steak portion was a bit small, and the vegetables seemed less fresh. The fried rice was quite different from usual, with a very light fry and small pieces of carrot. Additionally, the sushi didn’t taste as fresh as I would have hoped.
This is the absolute best sushi I have found in Chesapeake! Prices are very fair, Restaurant was very clean, and the service was extremely fast- My entrées literally came out within five minutes of me sitting down. My waiter was so kind and respectful. They have a couple of very unique rolls to offer too. DELISH, fresh, affordable, beautiful plating. Some of the best clear soup I’ve had. I came here to celebrate my 21st birthday and ate alone. I was happily surprised to see numerous other people also eat alone. Very comfortable environment.
My team has been out here for a few months now and a few of us love Sushi. We found this place and we love it. We have been coming here at least once a week since we found it. The atmosphere is very nice and the people are great! I have never eaten at a more friendly place during my travels. The interactions with the management and staff are always positive and they definitely remember their regulars. The food is...Amazing. We have had probably about 35 rolls here, the steak Hibachi and the shrimp dinner. The appetizers are great also. You can not go wrong with eating here. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be coming here for a visit.
