The egg croissant is crunchy, cheesy and creamy all at once, it tasted great. It is a bit expensive but i guess that’s what you get for $10 in Vancouver🤷♀️
We stopped in for a quick breakfast one morning. The Christmas village display was super cute and the lady behind the counter was nice and warm. I got the sausage roll and egg bite. It was fine- sausage was home made and good. Kinda needed hot sauce or something. The egg bit has a good texture but was nothing special and pricey for the quantity. My partner got a coffee and salmon bagel. It was all ok! Served quickly which was appreciated
Her kindness made my day start perfectly! I’ve always been curious about this place whenever I passed by 😗 why did I only come now? The coffee and food are amazing too!
Delightful Woman - Owned - Business on a quite street near the ferry. Charming neighborhood feel on the patio. Pet friendly. Delicious food and amazing Latte. We had the egg croissants which are light and fluffy and some freshly baked scones which were perfect! Stop by here for breakfast or lunch during your walkabout Vancouver. Bonus note if you are from Winnipeg, this is the place to come for confetti cake!
Comfy local coffee shop on the outskirts of downtown, close to the water. Small inside, but lots of tables outside. Very kind staff. Because it's a little distanced from the downtown core, it avoids the "corporate lunch break" vibe of more central cafes, and instead seems more popular with neighbourhood residents and people coming to/from the beach. I visited them on my lunch break since I had extra time to venture out; it was a nice change of pace. The food is all homemade and that really made a difference, even though what I got was simple stuff. I had a smoked salmon bagel and a pecan pie cheesecake. They were very generous with the salmon but the capers and red onion were sparse - I would have liked more of the vegetables and some greens would have been nice. It was a good sandwich, though, tasted very fresh. They warmed it up just enough to toast the bagel without getting the salmon hot. The cheesecake was really good, with the perfect harmony of crunchy and chewy candied pecans with creamy cheesecake. Pretty affordable at about $16 total after tax. Give them a try if you're in the area and want a simple meal or treat made with love.
