We're incredibly happy with the new roof, soffits, and gutters that J&V Roofing installed on both our house and detached garage. It's clear that Jose and the team truly care about the quality of the work they provide and ensuring that clients are happy with the outcome. Jose frequently checked in to update us on progress and to make sure we were happy with work that had been completed. One thing we particularly appreciated was how transparent J&V Roofing was with the cost associated with each part of the project, from initial quote through to the final invoice (which wasn't the case with other companies from whom we solicited quotes). When unforeseen issues arose (e.g., needing to also replace decking boards underneath shingles), they made sure to always discuss potential options available to us and associated costs before proceeding. Would highly recommend working with them!

J&V Roofing did a fantastic job on our house and roofing project. The exceptional quality of work provided by the team of Julian, Antonio, and Ezequiel has brought us great peace of mind living under both the flat roof and shingled roof portions of our home. They displayed careful, considerate, professional work, with friendly and warm interactions. Kudos to Luis, Alejandra, and Vanessa for providing great support, communication, and "service with a smile!". Lastly, thanks to José for so clearly explaining everything and running the project. J&V roofing is a fantastic company. Jose is a very skilled roofer and contractor. He roofed our house 3 years ago and discovered that our soffit vents were clogged with insulation (had been for 45 years!). He cleaned out the insulation and added additional ventilation. Repaired our siding that had been damaged I. The wind. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I couldn’t be happier with the work J&V Roofing did on my three-story building in downtown Madison. From the very first interaction to the final invoice, the entire experience was incredibly smooth and professional. They managed to get me on their schedule on very short notice, which I truly appreciated. Throughout the project, communication was excellent — I was kept informed every step of the way, and Jose (the owner) personally checked in with me regularly. The entire crew was not only highly skilled and efficient but also genuinely kind and respectful. J&V Roofing exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can wholeheartedly recommend them. Outstanding craftsmanship, great communication, and just all-around fantastic people to work with!

Glancing over the reviews, I am not surprised that Jose gets high marks. A duplex I just purchased (rental) was in need of a new roof. After a thorough inspection I also realized that I wanted siding/fascia covering the old wooden fascia and new gutters put on the duplex, plus more/better venting in the soffits. The siding was going over a portion of the house and the garage that the previous owners had left covered with wooden siding, much of it damaged and rotting. So...this job was complex and was going to be expensive no matter what. I wanted it done at the same time because it made sense to put new gutters on after the fascia was covered. Other issues around flashing/roof/gutter meant, one big job. I interviewed and received estimates from about 5 or 6 contractors. Jose knew he could do the job for less than some of the other corporate roofing companies and his bid came in lower, though not the lowest, but I felt good about his honesty and experience. He was careful to explain what might be underneath the old shingles, rotting plywood! Long story short, old roof came off and there was a lot of damage. Plywood prices had just gone up (supply and demand around the rioting...plywood being sold en masse to downtown businesses, I suspect), but Jose said he would give me the old price. So, I paid the deposit and he and his crew began the work. This was Oct. 2020. Job was finished within a week. Jose was communicating with me along the way, sending photos of their progress. I stopped by and saw the crew a number of times. The only thing that was undone was a couple of exterior lights. It took me a while to purchase those new lights (the old ones were junk!). Then, Jose came down with COVID and was sick for a long while. Then, the holidays! So, this past week, we finally finished up. I'm posting photos of parts of the process. I recommend J & V and will hire them again for other jobs, including replacing some windows on another duplex I own...probably later this Spring.
