Having previously had an excellent experience with Jackson tyres, I recently returned with what I thought was a punctured tyre. Long story short, there turned out not to be a problem with my tyre. The guys kindly replaced the valve as a precautionary measure, refitted the wheel for me and insisted there was nothing to pay. Friendly, efficient, honest, helpful service - I’d highly recommend Jackson’s and will happily go out of my way to give them my business in the future. Thank you. 🙏

Excellent service . Provided clear assessment of my original tyres and gave clear recommendations on what tyres to replace. Entire process was not only clear and easy but lads had back on the road very quickly.
Excellent reviews brought me to Jackson's tyres. The young chap was pleasant enough and said all the right things but his lackadaisical attitude should have set alarm bells ringing. I explained my steering wheel was wobbling so I needed the front tyres balanced. He wasn't really interested but his eyes lit up as he told me the cost would be £25. He proceeded to check the wheels and quickly determined that whoever had done them previously was incompetent. The weights were replaced but after driving away, I found the wobbly steering now occurred at a different speed but was still very much apparent, and worse than before. When I returned he refused to check the balance again, insisting my car had another fault and needed to be checked by a mechanic. I explained I had just replaced all the suspension and it was fine but he wouldn't have it. Please see the pics for the readings on the balancing machine when I went to Gorbals Tyre Centre. Either Jacksons are as incompetent as they are disinterested, or their balancing machine is faulty. Either way I won't ever go back. On the positive side, I ended up at Gorbals Tyre Centre in kilbirnie st where the service couldn't have been more different. They were genuinely concerned and sorted the issue out. My car is now back to its excellent smooth running best. I can't recommend GTC enough. Give these clowns a wide berth.
