I can't recommend Jaguar Heating and Air Conditioning highly enough. From initial analysis and quote (Tim and Mark), to replacement of old (and broken) furnace and AC system, Jaguar staff was pleasant, professional and informative. The installation team, Dheaven, Felix and Fernando were incredible, working against nearly impossible attic access. Final inspectors, Peter, "air-flow test guy", whose name escapes me despite his really helpful thermostat tutorial, and Kevin were as terrific as I had come to expect by today's final inspection and permit issuance. Quality staff, products and labor guarantees for five years - the best!
Staff were professional and well informed. Mark brought brochures on systems I knew were popular. Excellent advice on system to purchase. Installers were also excellent.
Each summer for the last few years I worried that our air conditioner would suddenly die. Each winter I worried that our gas furnace would blow up when I turned it on. I started researching HVAC companies a couple of years ago. Jaguar and a few others answered my questions promptly. In early October of this year, Cool Davis had an event showcasing homes that had converted their HVAC systems to heat pumps. We decided to do the same and wanted to do it soon to take advantage of the expiring tax credits. We had four companies come to our house to give us bids. Jesse from Jaguar gave the most thorough presentation and their bid was good. We asked when the system could be installed and he said as early as next week. One bid was cheaper for a similar system but we got very good vibes from Jesse. He was very responsive to our follow-up questions via email and text. A crew showed up on time the next week and got to work removing the old system and installing the new one. They took care to wear shoe covers, laid down protective floor coverings and were courteous. The crew was lead by Geordie. He took the time to answer all our questions and explain how everything worked. Willie and Omar got right to work too. They all came back the next day to finish the install and explained our new thermostats. They scheduled a return visit for a week later to install another part for the thermostats, installed straps for a new intake duct, repaired the drywall at the attic access, and added refrigerant. The time it was Geordie and Elijah doing the work. The next steps are the inspections, already scheduled for next week. We couldn't be happier with Jaguar and their employees. I'm thrilled we no longer have a gas furnace. We've yet to see if a heat pump system does save energy as touted.
Service call was for the new HVAC system installed on December 8, 2025. Noticed downstairs thermostat wasn't working and for the loud sound we were hearing when condenser motor was running. Peter showed up earlier than scheduled and after telling him the issues, went to work promptly. Showed him access to the attic to check the new unit installed. Then he checked the thermostats and did some tests on the new condenser outside the house. He was very thorough and took his time to diagnose and fix the problem. Finally, he told me to call them back if any additional problems or issues occurred. I feel we made the right decision in choosing Jaguar Heating & Air to install our new HVAC system. Overall, amazing. The team at Jaguar with Montie, Jose, David, and Elijah provided top of the line service for a great price. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend. My over 20 year old HVAC system was on its last leg when it abruptly stopped working and Jaguar came to evaluate the issue. Without feeling pressured, they gave me a quote to replace my existing system and the cost to replace. I decided to make the investment with a new one and begin getting comparison quotes. Through research, I wanted a RUUD/Rheem brand and not everyone company could offer that. After finding one company who could match Jaguar while giving a better price, they arrived late to give me a quote, seemed unapologetic about it, they didn’t work weekends, sent my quote late, and were pushing me to make a decision. Within minutes of sharing the lower price with Jaguar, they matched it. A 3rd company who came in last minute to earn my business seen Jaguars quote and simply said, that price and setup is too good, Happy Holidays. With 2 days after accepting the quote, Jaguar’s team was at my home at 8am and finished by 4pm completely removing my old system and putting in my new system. They made applying for financing easy and in this cold month, they had everything working perfectly and more efficient then ever.
