First time there. Ordered a small that was enough for two plus left overs. Can't wait to try during the summer; since, there's outdoor seating. I would recommend. Establishment has plenty of parking.
I ordered the small combination and it was chok-ful of ham & salami, pepperoni, crunchy bell peppers, mouthwatering onions, herbs & spices and flaky crust. Their small is a large sized pizza from Roundtable Pizza. Appx 12 slices total. I used to frequent the Saratoga location in the 80s and it was still as good then , as it is now but add-in the Willow Street location. I also ordered the patty melt burger and it was juicy and flavorful largely due to the succulent grilled onions and melted cheese , steaming grilled hot burger patty and golden brown , piping hot , perfectly crispy crunchy steak fries on a toasted hot , marbled-rye bread. It was so good my friend & I both ate it up before I could attach a picture of it !! It was a fairly busy, Tuesday night when we arrived most tables and booths were occupied. Lots of televisions with all the various games going on. Lively atmosphere- semi noisy when combined with all the games being displayed. The bar looked busy also and luckily when we arrived we were the first to order of a dozen people that came in as a mini-rush around 7:45 pm. Terrific food and atmosphere. Not a dull place . If you like fresh micro-brews on tap combined with tasty food then Jake’s takes the cake !
Lively local place with a welcoming vibe! Have tried both the vegetarian pizza (takeout) and the barbeque chicken (dine in), both were pretty good even though I’m not a fan of their crust. They really load it up on toppings which I appreciate :). Barbeque chicken pizza was delicious and flavorful with lots of pineapple, onions, sauce, and ofc chicken - they really did not skimp, even on a personal size pizza!
Both the pizza and the wings were below average. We asked for the pizza to be crispy, but it wasn’t crispy at all and wasn’t even cooked well. The location we usually go to in Saratoga is much better in terms of quality and atmosphere. Very disappointed with this branch
A great place in Willow Glen for a wide variety of food and beer. The atmosphere is great, and the food is good, but better versions of each available locally, just not all together. Nice booths for groups, and a good selection of beers on tap.
