Jhon is an excellent coach. Even though I’m not very familiar with boxing, it’s easy to see how knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated he is. He really takes the time to help others improve and makes the training experience positive and motivating.
Been training with Jhon for 3 months now, it’s the most I’ve enjoyed training in a long time. Played football as a kid but haven’t in a few years and have always been in and out of the gym because I couldn’t find a routine I enjoyed enough. Jhon knows his stuff, you notice the difference in everyone he trains technique right away. Tailors the workouts based on what you want to achieve, I’m planning on fighting at the end of this year and am confident he’ll get me to where I need to be. Jhon is an outstanding coach, absolutely top tier. I was lucky enough to make his acquaintance with two months to go before a planned fight – I had 0 prior fight experience. With Jhon I was able to build the power, technique, cardio, and grit to win my first fight via KO within a minute. My progress was very rapid and numerous folks were surprised by how quickly I was able to attain a reasonable skill level. I continue to train actively with him and have had only positive experiences within the camp. He is obviously an incredibly accomplished boxer himself but also totally dedicated to his clients and truly bought in to their successes. Naturally, a full training camp is very difficult, but the training is completely worth it – both in terms of winning fights, but also improving physique, losing weight, gaining confidence, and all the other ancillary benefits. Training with Jhon if you plan to fight even as a complete beginner is a virtual guarantee that you will progress incredibly rapidly and gain the required fundamental techniques as well as the cardio. It's not easy, of course. But for those up to the challenge it's well worth it. I count myself extremely lucky to have met Jhon.
