James and his team have done a sensational job restoring our 40+ year old Chiswell double-leaf extension dining table and chairs. This was a full strip and sand, as well as fixing two veneer bubbles, then fresh stain and polish. James was also very helpful in working with us to view progress, and in choosing the stain from his large range of options. Fabulous result! I bought a small French antique wine cupboard from an online auction. The condition was much worse than it appeared in the photos. It is for a little weatherboard cottage at Leura so I wanted to keep its rustic character. James and his team did a masterful job. As requested, they kept the patina, magically reduced the red tinge in the timber, fixed the broken door and added a soft matt finish to the surface. The touch of Japanese black was a stroke of genius! Such a good job and now the little cupboard will last another 100 years or more. Thank you so much James and your team. Jenny.
