Prior to having a baby, I used to train three times a week. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time or resources to maintain that routine. When my previous personal trainer moved out of the area, they highly recommended Kerry—and I’m so glad she did! I’ve just completed my first session with Kerry, and it was fantastic. Not only does he guide you through the exercises, but he also explains the mechanics and science behind them. He gives detailed advice on small tweaks that ensure you get the most out of every movement. In addition to the workouts, Kerry has provided me with a tailored nutrition plan, app support, and is always responsive to any queries—even on a Sunday! I’m truly impressed with his expertise and knowledge, and I’m excited to start training twice a week with him next month. Thank you, Kerry!
I found Kerry by accident and it's the best thing to happen to me all year! He's been working with me since about March 2025. So far, I've lost 30lb and that's with me having a variety of personal issues to overcome along the way. Kerry listens, guides, encourages and corrects with kindness and respect. I often feel like i am a great tester of his patience and he passes with flying colours every time!!! Kerry is amazing and absolutely THE best PT in town!! I have been training with him now for around 7 months and in that time my physique has changed so much and I feel stronger than ever. I love feeling this way and I’m excited to see how far I can push myself. His knowledge when it comes to fitness and how the body adapts to the challenges and stresses we place on it knows no bounds. I would say this is because he is so passionate and enthusiastic about what he does and is keen to share his passion with his clients too. I always feel as though I am in good hands and well looked after whilst training with Kerry. I used to feel nervous when I first started out but I needn’t have worried as he soon put me at ease. He is a genuinely lovely guy and very entertaining too so before I know it the hour has passed and I’m already looking forward to my next session! Kerry knows when to push you but equally when to pull back the pace depending on whatever other things may be happening in your life outside of the gym. I have been training with Kerry for 8 months now and he’s been incredibly supportive from the start. His belief in his clients means he is able to get the most out of every session, even when you don’t think there is anymore to give. Having never really trained in a gym before I have managed to do things I never thought I would be capable of which is a testament to Kerry’s support and guidance.
I’ve worked with several trainers over the years and comparatively Kerry is standout. Previous experiences have usually ended due to plateauing. It’s core to Kerry’s approach that that never happens. Everything is planned as you would expect, with a mix of rotations to target goals appropriately. Tracking ensures a steady stream of progress and Kerry stays on top of this with you, making sure to push you so that everything keeps moving appropriately, at a pace to suit. Within this though, Kerry is super quick to flex to your needs – if something isn’t working, he’ll change it. He adapts at speed which again, keeps things moving, but also ensures things stay enjoyable. Which is another one of the key reasons I appreciate working with Kerry – he makes it fun. He’s very personable and is genuinely interested in you and your progress. You can tell he enjoys what he does and is committed to working hard for his clients. I would have no hesitation recommending Kerry to anyone looking for support on their fitness journey.
