We had our first visit with them for our newborn and the staff was extremely bubbly, patient, and friendly. Our doctor was very attentive to our questions and patient with my mom brain (lol), very understanding and kind as well. We’re very glad we picked this place for our son!
Me and my husband drove over an hour to go to this office. We were visiting one closer to home but the nurses and doctors were not personable at all. We went a saw Dr. James 2 days after our son was born just to get the ok. But after being at another practice and not happy we went back to Dr.James and he is absolutely amazing! So knowledgeable and personable. Even his whole staff. So amazing and so nice. I will definitely be going to Dr.James from now on. Couldn’t have asked for a better visit. Me and my husband both are super happy and had more than all of our questions asked. You will not be disappointed if you go here. I would tell you to definitely go to them. You will love it!
First time to the office we normally go to lenior city, but due to having a sick kiddo we needed to be seen! We saw Mel, he was great, and efficient. The staff and nurses were super friendly. Even though the office was busy we were in and out in an effective manner!
I have been Dr. James and Dr. Mel for years. I have 4 boys from 3 to 24 and they have seen all 4. I even chose my new insurance specifically to make sure that they were in network. They have always been like family and my children love them. Their nurses are always pleasant and helpful. The doctors take their time to answer any questions you have and try to make sure you feel heard and valued.
Lenoir City location is our normal office but it's so nice having the after hours available at the oak ridge office! We were a little worried about our baby developing a cough after having the flu about 3 week ago but she didn't have a fever and acted normal. To ease our minds and avoid another possible ER trip this month if she got worse over the weekend (flu symptoms and high fever hit on a Sunday) we booked a same day appointment at this office. In and out quickly, everyone was so nice and the office is really big and nice. Definitely happy with Kids Central Pediatrics overall as I believe they really care about the kiddos and listen to parents concerns as well.
