The indoor playground was a fun experience for my kids even though it was pretty crowded on Saturday. Very reasonable price, unlimited time, you can come out and come back in which is very handy if the child is hungry. It's not too big though, my kids were done after an hour. There was also an arcade but we didn't play there so can't comment on that. The stores inside the market were pretty expensive, the cafeteria had good prices for ice-cream, but limited choice of flavors, their ice machine was broke so no smoothies or boba was available. Family washroom on the second floor had a very long line, but there turned out to be more washrooms on the ground floor available and clean.
So much fun! We have to go back one day. My kids had a blast and did not want to leave.
A great place for little kids or young at heart. It's the first time I visit this market. I don't know is it be same as decades ago. When I went to Granville Island past decades, I can recall the lower entrance for kids only. If you have little ones, this is the perfect place bring them. It will be so much fun in chilly days when you don't know where to bring your kids. All the old fashioned toys, games, shops, playing machines and the decorations remind our good old days! It may be a little pricey but it will so much fun just play one or two games there. It's the time we can help our local small business. All the shops are local and so good. Upstairs has one small bumper area for little kids, 2 nice decorations party room and some old fashioned arcade game. There are a restaurant in the upstairs with good seating area.
Great little section, rides and games sized well for my little. Lots of little shops with lots to look at. Hope to come back closer to 4 years old than 2.
The kids market is exactly what every kid dreams of. Filled with toy stores and upstairs they have a small arcade and kiddie rides you can pay for. They also have a two level indoor play area where you can drop your kids off while you shop. I think it was around $10 per child. My kids did not want to leave this place!
