I did the float experience. I enjoyed it. However, I will be looking to find this experience at a different business. The front staff person was doing the absolute least amount of work possible. We had tea while we waited and when we came back out 90 minutes later the dirty cups were still there along with anyone else that had been there. So the front area was full of dirty cups. There was dirty laundry in the bathroom. I could not get the lights or the music to work so I called the front desk to ask for help. He was absolutely not interested in helping me so I listened to music on my phone. They only provide one thin microfiber towel which I used to wrap my hair. I had to use the terry cloth rug to dry my body. I would also recommend bringing your own head rest or bath pillow as the very cheap one they provide was not easy to use. Also, they have a hairdryer in the one bathroom(separate from your dressing area) but there is only one and if someone is using it you can’t use the restroom. So plan on leaving with wet hair.
I got the botanical head spa and it felt amazing!! they used great oils like rosemary and lavender for my hair. the scalp analysis was thorough and helped them put the right oil. Overall very relaxing and would go again!
So relaxing! I booked back to back appointments - went for a massage over at Kume Spa and then went a here (a few doors down) for the new Botanical Scalp Treatment! Christy was amazing and really sweet. I felt like she went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the treatment. Been looking for hair treatments ever since I’ve been struggling with postpartum hair loss. It’s great that this service is offered here and I don’t have to drive all the way to south bay!
I had the best experience with Christy yesterday. The receptionist at Kume Float was able to easily coordinate my Botanical Deluxe Treatment to follow the prior appointment I had with Kume Spa. The space was beautiful and clean. Christy explained each step of the treatment and why it was good for my scalp. The facial sculpting was AMAZING! I am so pleased with how my scalp, hair, and face look and feel.
I came here and did the cryo therapy followed by the cocoon heat therapy and finished with an hour float for a full sensory deprivation. I've tried other float pods and Kume float is the best out of the ones I've tried. Just make sure you don't shave the day before going in. The staff was welcoming and the facility was very nice and clean. I definitely recommend trying this place and everything they have to offer. I really enjoyed my entire vist. For people who want to up their recovery and/or lower any stress in thier lives, this is the place to check out!
