I appreciate the updates they've made to the physical space, especially around accessibility. I'm also grateful the owners kept classic (PJ Murphy) items while expanding their offerings. Grab and go is best but there is a nice patio for warmer months.
Excellent local bakery and coffee shop. Check in regularly for all of the seasonal specialty items. You will NOT be disappointed. Very friendly staff and a couple of tables inside. During nicer weather, they also have outdoor seating. I wish I lived closer!
I got the pistachio New York roll along with a whole milk matcha latte and to my understanding is supposed to be a buttery flaky croissant with chocolate and nuts in top with cream inside. The roll was dense and not flaky the chocolate on top with the nuts was well along with the cream just wish it was softer. The matcha was very watery and you can tell by the light color of matcha powder they use is not a good or high end matcha and have had better anywhere else in the area. The barista helping us was a bit snappy and very low effort and energy. Small place so if you’re not into crowded places I wouldn’t recommend.
I’ve been wanting to visit this boulangerie for a while because I’ve lived in France, and love authentic French pastries and bread. When I walked in, I immediately noticed the delicious smell that reminded me of boulangeries in France. I ordered a plain butter croissant, pain au chocolat, the savory spinach-feta-walnut croissant, and a coffee. The savory croissant was very tasty and fresh, and the coffee was great, too. It was a nice day, so I enjoyed sitting on the patio next to the boulangerie. There is not much seating inside. The first young woman I ordered from seemed new. I told her I was going to eat the savory croissant “here” and she handed it to me on a napkin. I asked her for a plate, and she didn’t know they had plates. Another employee showed her the plates, and said most customers take their food to go. I spent about $20 plus tip. It’s a cute place, and it’s good to support small businesses.
Very cute, cozy shop, and it smells amazing! Greeted as i walked in & helped immediately! Got a too good to go box, get there early for the best items, i got 14(!) Sweet treats for $7! There was another stripey cake donut, but i ate it. If the baked goods are dry, i would recommend a light mist of water & reheating in an air fryer or low broiler. Makes them taste brand new 🥹
