LB Electric did a great job on our electrical work. We had pot lights installed and outlets relocated. From Nicole in the office to Yann for the estimate and Ray for the install, everyone was great. Communication was clear. They were reliable, fast, and the price we were quoted was the price we paid. We are very happy with their work and recommend their services.
Friendly and professional! We had a wonderful experience with Eric! We had several new light fixtures installed, numerous plugs installed in our basement and best of all, 4 new pot lights installed with no cutting into the walls! Eric did his homework and properly examined the surrounding lights and wires to find out that he could save us both the headache of a hole in the wall. Great experience all around!
Ray did an excellent job! He installed two pendant lights above our dining table. He also did his best to minimize the holes in our wall, which we really appreciate. He explained everything clearly and was both professional and friendly. The company was also very quick with the quote.
Mathew did excellent work for us! He installed new pot lights in our kitchen, basement and our newly renovated laundry/bathroom including adding/moving plugs to accommodate the move of the washer/dryer, He also added an outlet outside our front door. We also had him change the light fixtures in our bar area.
We recently work with LB electric for our service upgrade, panel upgrade, ev charging and installing few interior and exterior plugs. I am going to start with the good things. The estimates were great and quick. Price-wise, they are not the cheapest, but they are not the most expensive either. Some of their electricians are great, they are tidy and respect their work. Some of them are the complete opposite, they provide very low quality work and leave the site messy. They visited our house 4 times and they just cleaned the site only once which happened after we informed them how they leave the site. In my book, you suppose to leave better than how you found it at bare minimum. Another issue we found out that communication. We experienced issues between site personal and back office workers. For example we were told that they will install GFCI breakers for non grounded outlets but they didn't install even though reminded multiple times. We just realized during the site visits and their site personal wasn't aware of the requirements for the work. The one thing is consistent I found. You find out things afterwards. They also installed a new plug in the garage that is connected to brand new braker. However they also connected my furnace room wire to same breaker. When I turn off the breaker, it also turns of my furnace room electricity as well! It was another nice little surprise that I found. We were expecting quality work based on their google review but we receive opposite. For example, our panel labels are incorrect. When we asked them why they did it incorrectly they said that it is a additional service they charge. However they don't mentioned it until we found out. More importantly, they said that this happens 95% of the times on the panel upgrades. So they know that they were printing incorrect labels but they don’t inform their customers which I found very interesting. They installed very cheap quality charger outlet which is manufactured for stoves or dryers. When we asked them the reason response was being competitive. Based on our research we found out that the ev plug they installed can cause fire hazards due to EV constantly consume to energy which causes heat on the plug then melts down the plug. Cheap quality outlet was getting hot while charging, after we upgraded to EV grade it is a lot better in terms of heat. As mentioned before some of their electricians are great but not others. I guess it is really depends on who works in your site. For us, it didn’t work even though they have top reviews on Google. Now, I need to find another company that can correct things they completed it or half way completed it
