As a wedding photographer, I've had the opportunity to shoot at many beautiful locations, but Leo Mol Sculpture Garden is truly something special. From the moment I stepped into the garden, I was blown away by how serene and picturesque it is—it's like stepping into a hidden oasis right in the heart of Assiniboine Park. One of the things I love most about shooting here is the incredible variety of backdrops—from the beautifully sculpted pathways and lush greenery to the elegant water features and breathtaking sculptures. Whether it's capturing a couple's quiet moment by the pond or playful laughter among the vibrant flowers, every shot feels like a work of art. The lighting here, especially during golden hour, is just magical and adds an extra touch of romance to every photo. Beyond the beauty of the space, the team at Leo Mol Sculpture Garden is amazing to work with. They're always so helpful and accommodating, making it easy for me and my couples to focus on what really matters—creating beautiful memories. Every time I photograph a wedding here, I leave feeling inspired and grateful to have such a stunning place right here in Winnipeg. If you're a couple looking for a romantic, artistic, and peaceful setting, or a fellow photographer searching for a dream location, I can’t recommend this spot enough. It’s truly one of my favorites!

Quite a variety of bronze sculptures with an emphasis on his nubile muse. Others include famous persons, bears, a wild sow with suckling young, deer, and a strange mythical bull. The reflecting pond seemed overgrown when we visited in late August. The lily pond was teeming with frogs and flowers.

The Leo Mol Sculpture Garden in Assiniboine Park is a peaceful blend of art and nature. It's filled with beautiful sculptures by Leo Mol, surrounded by lush gardens and quiet paths. Walking through the garden is calming, and the sculptures are amazing to see—they're so detailed and diverse. It's a perfect place for a relaxing stroll, where you can enjoy art in a natural setting. The garden is well cared for, flowers were vibrant. A Must Visit and its free of charge 🙂

Beautiful gardens and unique sculptures. There are a few buildings that have descriptions of the artist and more sculptures (air conditioned which was a nice break from the heat). I'm so happy this place is free to visit! Highly recommend.

Es ist einer meiner Lieblingsorte im Assiniboine park and zoo! Ich verbringe etwas Zeit damit, farbenfrohe Blumen und Pflanzen zu schätzen, oder genieße eine friedliche Lesestunde! Highlights sind die Jazz-Shows am Sonntagnachmittag! Der beste Teil davon ist, dass ich den kostenlosen Trolley benutze, um dorthin zu gelangen! Von den The Forks downtown und zurück! Aber natürlich spreche ich von meinen häufigen Besuchen dort im Sommer!
