Columbus' 17th at Sawgrass 😁! A hidden little gem of a course. Super casual atmosphere. With the disk golf course running through the golf course, so you have to watch out for disk golfers, but it works just fine. Great course, holes range from 100yds to ~170yds. 11 holes. Synthetic greens and tee boxes. Greens are ridiculously fast, but do hold well struck shots with spin and react like a real grass green would in my opinion. Bunkers could use a rake left at them so they could be raked properly after use, but they did have good sand in them. Will definitely be back!
John hosted disc golf for of Columbus Firefighter league and the course was absolutely amazing. Can be tough with the OB and water but fun. I’ve also played golf there and been to a wedding hosted there as well. All around a wonderful experience!
Our firm held an event at the Wenbeck at Little Bear, and we will be doing so again. The course is beautiful, the staff and amenities are great, and everything about booking the venue was easy. This is a great venue for a corporate get together or events with kids because there are lots of casual activities available (disc golf, putt putt, cornhole) in addition to just mingling.
Our company recently hosted a corporate event at The Wenbeck. The setting is beautiful. The high-end putting course is a fantastic feature for a corporate event because it's a casual activity that guests can try throughout the evening. The staff was very professional and working with them to organize the event was a breeze. I highly recommend this venue. We look forward to hosting events here in the future.
Disc golfer: We really enjoyed our round here, the shots are fun. Mix of short/some long. Water hazards on most holes aimed more at the intermediate level of players. We didn’t love the flow of the course with the golfers but we did come at the busiest time of day. The tee pads were short for my liking but not everyone is James Conrad. The amenities are great and something that disc golf in Columbus didn’t have until Lil Bear. The guys in the pro shop are good dudes. Used bins/good selection of new from disc golf mart. Retrievers/T shirts. The ace bounties added a fun side quest. $10 for a round, $100 for a yearly membership? I think Recommend if you get bored of your free rounds to drop a few bucks to try out this well manicured golf course.
