I left with a clean, thoughtful cut, although the real takeaway was the experience itself. Louie’s preserves a kind of dignity that has become hard to find in San Francisco. I always enjoy Carlos careful haircuts, handsome smile, easy going nature, and I walk out extremely pleased. After returning from a long summer vacation, Carlos has me all clean cut perfectly again. Do not come here! Steve was not accommodating whatsoever. Asked for a simple fade and showed him a picture. There was zero fade it went from 0 to my hair as it was before I showed up. Looked so awful no blending or anything. I asked if he can go higher and blend and he said NO??
I really like Bon! He does a great job every time. The shop itself is adorable and has good window views of Castro. Unfortunately, the wait list is very inaccurate and difficult to schedule around unless you have all day to wait. That plus it being cash only has led me elsewhere.
