Hostile staff. Did not acknowledge me nor even make eye contact for the ten minutes I was in the store. Talked with each other about putting “AirTags on my kid for Mardi Gras”. Talked over me and acted as if I was invisible. These ladies should not be the face of a store run by a fellow GIA alum. I was literally a foot away from the woman in a yellow dress behind the counter, trying to catch her eye. I have never felt this type of ghosting before in any city. Shocking incompetence and bad attitude.
When ever I come to the shop everyone is always so welcoming & extremely helpful. Incredible selection of jewelry & clothing. Thank you Sarah for your assistance and patience while I was looking for the best fitting pieces. I got exactly what I was looking for.
Just giving a shout-out to this amazing gem of a store and lovely Kelly who was an absolute star. The store has a well-curated and affordable selection of linens, cotton and knitwear, and their Victorian/Art Noveau jewelry is a feast for the eyes. I think I spent two hours there trying everything on and chatting with Kelly, who was not only beyond helpful, but also just a great person to have a conversation with. I'll return someday when I'm richer to buy all the jewelry!
My partner and I decided to shop for an engagement ring here, as they came highly recommended for their vintage collection. Kylee was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. We found the perfect ring in our budget and they even offer re-sizing. I will be recommending Magpie to everyone I know, and will be back the next time I am looking for jewelry!
Such a cute store. With reasonably priced jewelry and clothes. Definitely stop by for boutique shopping without boutique prices!
