We had a great training session at our home today with Martin!! We have a 2 year old English Bull Terrier who is great in most situations but when it comes to people coming into the house or the odd person he sees in the park he can get very protective and bark, growl & lunge. We have 2 children and to ensure guests who come to our home or bump into us at the park can feel safe we need to fix this behaviour. Martin is an excellent trainer. No flashy techniques, just simple, solid, tried & tested tools. He shows a real love of dogs and this really made me feel comfortable that he wanted to help us and most importantly our dog. He uses simple method but they are highly effective. His 1-2-1 session allowed him to tailor the training to our needs. We have had lots of training before but Martin still managed to give us tips we hadn’t considered before. We’re already seeing results and feeling very positive about the future. Thank you Martin!!!!
Martin has recently helped us understand and tackle issues with both our senior resident dog, and our new rescue puppy. Using a calm and systematic approach, helping us understand root issues and underlying principles. We will be having him back!
Martin came to visit us at home, what a change he made to our dog and us straight away, he made it simple and easy to train our dog and shown us as owners how to do it, he also left us with leads and clickers (which we wasn’t expecting ) to make it that more easier for us, can’t thank him enough. Lovely friendly guy, who goes out of his way for you. I would recommend him to everyone and is always at the end of the phone for questions we may have.
We have a boisterous and very loud but loving Labrador. Martin visited us with his calm manner helped both our dog and us in how to control his excitement and calm. Left us with training advice and exercises that are already showing a difference in his behaviour. Brilliant experience.
I cannot recommend Martin enough. He visited us last Sunday to deal with our crazy 9 month old boxer baby. Straight through the door Martin had Jetts full attention and it was amazing to see. They way he was with Jett really made me feel at ease, not only was he training him and correcting him, but he calmed him, praised him and made sure he was as comfortable as possible all the time. Also giving him kisses! The recommendations Martin left us with we have implemented and Jett is already calmer and walking him is starting to be an enjoyable experience again. Jett is definitely a work in progress and he has tried to push the boundaries daily, but if you are willing to put the effort in 100% would reccomend Martin! Thank you so much from all of us x
