Marmot Art Space in Kendall Yards, Spokane, ist eine helle, intime Galerie, in der lokale und regionale Künstler gezeigt werden. We love Marmot Art Space. Marshall is so gracious and truly cares about the artists he shows. He loves sharing his knowledge of the artists and their work with patrons, whether you are buying or just looking. Marmot Art Space and gallery owner Marshall Peterson are a gift to the Spokane community. The space is bright and welcoming and features art ranging in size, price, and medium, from Smithsonian -featured talents to local artists in our own community and the Pacific Northwest. Marshall Peterson is as much a warm host as he is curator, docent, educator and community builder,. His goal to make art relevant and available to everyone - whether to purchase or simply enjoy in the space- is evident in everything he does. His love of people and art and community shines bright in this small but mighty gallery!
The Marmot Gallery is a little gem of an art space in Spokane. They feature local and not so local artists. It’s an intimate space where the artists are usually on hand to meet and discuss their art. I have purchased several pieces from this gallery. Marshall, the owner, is very accommodating and makes it extremely easy to purchase art. It’s always a pleasure to visit the Marmot and to support Spokane’s arts community.
I love going to this place! The variety of artists with incredible work and histories is really impressive. In particular I have been very impressed with how Marmot has helped elevate some incredible regional artists with really unique styles and world-class (literally) art. It's what I would expect from a bigger gallery in a bigger city - and we have it here in little ol' Spokane!
Ich liebe das Marmot. Die Kunstwerke sind immer interessant und einen Blick wert. Marshall, der Direktor, ist kompetent, freundlich und unterhaltsam. Der Raum ist klein, aber gemütlich. Es liegt im sehr coolen Viertel Kendall Yards. Der Marmot Art Space ist ein Muss für First Fridays!
