Our daughter is turning 4 soon and we brought her here this past weekend for her first ever haircut. The experience was amazing! The place is fun, the staff is great, my daughter loved it! They were kind enough to let us take tons of pictures and videos. They gave her a lollipop and a balloon. They also took a Polaroid picture after and put it together in a little date-stamped keepsake with a lock of her hair for us to commemorate her 1st haircut. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
This place is amazing, and it deserves so much recognition for helping parents of littles that need to get their hair cut. It’s both a fun and safe place. First, I have been looking for a place like this for a very long time, as my child was born with a full head of hair. I am so thankful that this place has opened. Not only is this place extremely cute and inviting, it is completely children friendly. I hope to have amazing experiences to come because my first time here was magical. We were lucky to have Angel cut our son’s hair. He truly is an angel because he made the process so quick and stress free. I also feel like my son somewhat enjoyed the experience too, which is a lot to say for an almost 2 year old. They were extremely accommodating to the attitudes of toddlers, and I appreciate their patience and assertiveness. I’m sure all of the hair stylists are amazing here, and I highly recommend this salon for your little one. It’s definitely worth the $45 for your loved one to be comfortable with someone in their space and cutting their hair. The online appointment process was super easy too. This place is a godsend … so go check it out. You will not be disappointed!!!
Really awesome place for the kiddos. My daughter had been here before for a birthday party and now needed a cut. Well she got it and it was fun and great. Bianca cut my daughters hair and explained to her everything she was doing. Asked us what we wanted and I said basically do what you think is right. It came out nice and explained to us how to keep it nice. The other employee was there and greeted us. The owner was there and a professional photog was there doing shots. Place is big and fun. Handicap accessible i would say and bathroom in the back which I did not visit. Parking maybe an issue but we went at 9am on Saturday and found a spot right away. Make sure you dont park in resident permit parking. Overall great location, fun time for the kids. They also sell hair products and other stuff. There are games and books for them to read. Everyone super friendly. We did the appointment online. You need a cc to do it and it stores your card on file.
Both kids loved their haircuts. We had a special request - a lightening bolt design shaved on the side. It looks amazing! Daughter got bangs for the first time and is very excited for her new look. They added some color and sparkle at the end. By far the most fun hair appointments ever!
I've brought my daughter here twice, and she absolutely loves Mayne! She had a bang trim yesterday and didn't want to leave! I tried bringing her to another salon for her first haircut, and she was overwhelmed and didn't like it at all. But at Mayne she felt 100% comfortable, and Keyla was amazing. My daughter's hair is super-fine and a little wild, but Keyla was able to give her awesome bangs and even everything out. I have another kid on the way, and definitely will be bringing both of them here!
