I’ve been going to MedVet Silicon Valley for years. My primary care vet recommended them in case of emergencies, and while no one ever wants to be in a situation where their pet needs urgent care, I’m truly grateful to have this place to turn to. I first came here about ten years ago with my previous dog who has since passed. Now I’m here again with my new girl. Even though I never want to deal with emergencies, I continue to come back because I trust their doctors, nurses, techs, and staff. Everyone is caring, patient, and genuinely wants to help. My dog isn’t great with other dogs, especially in stressful situations. While we were waiting to be seen, they put us in a private room so she could relax without the pressure of other pets around. It meant a lot to me that they were thoughtful about her comfort and mine. When you’re already anxious and scared for your pet, that kind of extra care goes a long way. Their medical team is also incredible. They’re knowledgeable and thorough, but they’re also transparent. They explain what’s going on, walk you through your options, and then give you space to make the decision that feels right. They never pressure you or rush you, and they’re understanding if you need time or want to try one approach before another. It feels like they’re truly partnering with you in caring for your pet, not just telling you what to do. Emergency visits are never fun, but having a place like MedVet where the people are compassionate, respectful, and honest makes a tough situation feel a little easier. I’m really grateful for them and the care they’ve given my pets over the years.

Considering the extreme prices that emergency veterinary prices can be, especially in the middle of the night, the final estimate and cost was well under $500 to find out my pup has a slipped bulging disk and a compressed vertebrae in his neck due to jumping off my high bed. Vet technicians were great, and the doctor really took her time to care for my baby.

I had to go to this veterinary clinic as an emergency last Friday, and I was deeply impressed. I was seen very quickly, and my dog was taken care of immediately. She was even operated on the very same day, which greatly contributed to her recovery. The team is incredibly warm and compassionate. The veterinarian who attended to us was not only extremely professional but also deeply attentive: she sat down on the floor to examine my dog, with a gentleness and closeness that truly moved me. Everything was done the same day, efficiently and with impeccable professionalism. Moreover, although the cost was significant, it was very reasonable considering the level of care provided: I actually paid less for the entire treatment than for a simple dental cleaning at my regular veterinarian. I highly recommend this clinic
