My first time here and fascinated with its back story! On this particularly rainy but busy day, I ordered the “You Make Me Wake Up Happy” plate and it truly lived up to its name. The waffles were perfectly cooked — crisp on the outside, fluffy inside — and generously topped with fresh, juicy berries that added the perfect touch of sweetness. The scrambled eggs were light, fluffy, and seasoned just right. The bacon was beautifully crisp, and the sausage was juicy and full of flavor. Every element on the plate was cooked with care and balance. You can really taste the quality and attention to detail in this dish. An absolutely satisfying, comforting meal that left me full and genuinely happy. I’ll definitely be coming back and ordering this again. 💛🥞🍓
The wait was maybe 30 minutes but totally worth it. I ordered the Thai chicken and waffles and the Hibiscus 🌺 Tea. The food was amazing and I’m definitely coming back to order the same thing! The Tea was good, I asked them to sweeten it for me. The ambience was chill and casual. The service was amazing, I loved the waiter he was very accommodating and friendly and gave me extra chili sauce for my left overs. The waffle was delicious and crispy, I’d get a corner of waffle, put a pad of butter and a bit of crispy fried basil on top and it was a burst of flavor in my mouth. Even better was the fried chicken dipped in the chili sauce, it was like a food orgasm! I didn’t bother with the syrup at all, I dipped my chicken in it once but no it was better with chili sauce. My friend had the Thai omelette and I tasted it and it was delicious! It came with rice under the omelette and she ordered a side of potato wedges that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Loved the cozy interior and the amazing brunch menu items. I went family style with my friends, and we had the fried chicken & waffle, chicken pesto panini, and the waffle & berries. I personally felt that the portions were on the smaller end for the price, but they all tasted good nevertheless.
We stopped by Met Her at the Bar for brunch right after landing in Los Angeles, and it turned out to be one of the best starts to our trip! The place has such a charming vibe — bright, cozy, and full of great energy. The staff was friendly, engaging, and super welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We ordered a fully vegetarian spread that included vegan waffles, granola oats, a bean wrap, mocha, and a hazelnut iced latte. Every single item was delicious — the vegan waffles were fluffy and perfectly sweet, the granola oats were fresh and wholesome, and the bean wrap was packed with flavor. Both drinks were excellent, especially the hazelnut iced latte, which was smooth and refreshing. Everything we tried tasted fresh and thoughtfully made, and the presentation was spot-on. It’s one of those brunch spots that feels both trendy and comforting at the same time. If you’re in LA and looking for a great brunch spot near the airport or around West LA, Met Her at the Bar is a must-visit. Must-try: Vegan Waffles & Hazelnut Iced Latte
It was my birthday and had a taste for waffles. This place was a suggestion. The food was delicious. I had a snaffoo with the eggs, but the manager quickly took care of it for me. Overall, the food was great. The waffles were not hard and crunchy like some other places. They were soft easy to swallow and the steak was seasoned well. My guest liked his chicken ans waffles as well.
