The location and atmosphere where nice. It was quite empty for a Saturday. When we ordered we were a bit disappointed bieng Hispanic and all. We expected the food to be more authentic, my plate and my sisters plate were untouchably hot which was a bit weird because the tostadas she had were warm to the touch and my fish tocos flour tortilla was a bit cold, there was no refried beans on the tostadas the chicken was kind of slapped on there then topped with lettuce and Pico de gallo. My fish tacos had 3 each shrimp on each taco with lettuce and Pico. The bizarre thing was that our food came out before our mixed drinks, by the time our drinks came out we were finished with most of our food, so the food took less time than the drinks. Its a good place to hang out and have a couple drinks, I wouldn’t go there to have a good meal. We were disappointed because we chose this place amongst others. If you know .mexican authentic food this is not the spot. The service was great.

Metztli is so great! Their patio is like a little oasis, the cocktails are huge and delicious, and the food is amazing as well. Just found my new favorite Tex-Mex place. :)

I work @ the Louisville Palace & love coming here to eat. Taco salad is yum yummy & big chucks of chicken make me wanna hoover down my food.! Highly recommend

Everyone there was so attentive to our large party and the drinks and food were amazing! They had so many different types and flavors of margaritas and their menu is huge! We had a party of 14 and everybody loved their food and their drinks! It's always hard to please everybody but this time they did! I even got a flight of Margaritas which I have never seen before. It was fantastic. I loved being able to try all their fun flavors!

I am suspicious of the 46 five star reviews. It’s a very midwestern Mexican restaurant. Everything is a little bland and the portions are large. A little better than El Nopal, but they are playing in the same league. It was nearly empty on a Saturday night and the food was out quickly.
