Millie is an amazing hair stylist! I’ve been getting my hair done with her for a while now and I’m never disappointed. She really takes the time to understand what style I’m going for. She’s so sweet and love her energy!
The first picture is what I asked for; the second is what I got. I normally just walk away and never return when I don’t like a service—I’m not someone who writes reviews. But this time, I felt I had to. Not only was I unhappy with the final result, but I also left feeling offended. This was my second visit. The first time, I received an uneven haircut, but Lyle fixed it and did an amazing job. Because the salon has great reviews and my experience with Lyle was fantastic, I decided to give it another chance. I asked for something simple—a hair color similar to the 1st picture. They told me it would be around $200. Instead, they covered my whole head in highlights, which I never requested, and then charged me $420. The worst part was when the stylist, Oscar, washed my hair. It was extremely tangled from the coloring technique he used, and he pulled so hard that it was genuinely painful. Honestly, for the price they charge, they should absolutely be using proper detangling products or techniques. What made the experience even more unpleasant was his comment suggesting I was “probably on my period” or that my scalp was “too sensitive,” essentially blaming me for not being able to tolerate the pain. I truly hate writing this review because Lyle treats my hair gently, and his haircuts are amazing. But overall, this experience was disappointing and upsetting, and I left feeling far worse than when I arrived.
Thank you so much Oscar! You brought me back to life…the struggle to find the perfect hairdresser in Vegas has come to an end. Oscar and Jocelyn, thank you so much for welcoming me with open arms and easing my anxiety. You two are the BEST!!!! Can’t wait for my next appointment….
Millie did an amazing job on my hair! I got a highlight with toner, trim, blowout, and treatment on my hair. I originally had completely virgin dark brown hair and she transformed it into better than what I asked for. The hospitality from everyone was great! They offered me snacks and drinks while I got my hair done. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend coming and asking for Millie.
It took me a while to finally write this review, but sometimes time really is the best storyteller. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Lyle for about five years now, and not once has he let me down. He’s made me feel confident in every style I’ve tried since high school. His customer service is just as amazing. I could come back months later, and he’d still remember to ask about my trips to France or how my exams went. He genuinely cares and makes you feel seen. He also has an incredible ability to help hair grow. I went through a hair-loss phase, and he was always gentle, supportive, and gave me practical advice on what to do. I don’t get my hair cut anywhere else—and I won’t, unless I move out of Las Vegas.
