Love this place! It's under new management as of December. Went with my husband for lunch this weekend and sat at the bar. The fish was fresh and the atmosphere was great. The AYCE was a great value, however, they do not yet have a liquor license.
Finally get to try this new sushi place that we been waiting for opening. Nice change from the previous business that the moment you enter the place was clean and inviting. We got seated right away and then they got busy as soon as the dinner time hits on Saturday night. Got plenty of food, fish were fresh and from appetizers to skewers, everything was amazing. Definitely coming back next time when I’m in the mood for AYCE sushi.
1 star mainly because of the sneaky and greedy business practices. They add 20% tip without telling you then ask for another 20% minimum on top of that for 2 adults and 3 kids. Service is slow. Foods ok but was better from the last owner. Menu is limited. They don't serve alcohol. No cups for soy sauce, when we asked they gave us 2 for 5 people. The place smells like sewage. Response to management: im glad you saw my review and are considering it. My advice is common practice for a restaurant is large parties (over 8) a 18% tip is added and they are informed about it. Your restaurant is the first i have ever been to out of 100s of restaurants to impose a mandatory tip for a small party without it being posted and then asks for another tip on top of that. If you look at your receipt I posted the 18% extra tip your asking for as a minimum is actually 20% which further exhaust my feelings for greedy business practices. If you treated me as a valued customer I would have tipped more than your required tip and returned as I have been coming to this building for sushi from the last owner for years. From now on I will go to tahci sushi or sushi wow without being asked for 50% tip.
I came here for Christmas Eve with my family, I was skeptical due to the last sushi place, but this place did not disappoint! The service was remarkable, and the food was fresh and delicious. They had a good selection to choose from and everyone left full and happy. I am pleased with the new opening of the sushi spot near the house.
It was our first time here and everyone here is so nice and welcoming! The food was fast, fresh, and super yummy. Definitely check them out if you’re not willing to drive all the way to spring mountain area. We will be coming back! 😊
