Insanely tasty, fresh and AUTHENTIC sushi! I got some yellow tail nigiri and the Vivian and Seven Treasures rolls. I love that the ratio of fish to rice is higher— so tasty and wont stuff you full of rice. You pay for the fish, not the rice. The owners were so kind, helpful and accommodating to dietary discrepancies. Highly recommend this place. Picture is of the leftovers they put in a box. Nice right?!
Went here for the first time and now I’m already thinking about my next order! I got the salmon donburi and the quality and the taste of the salmon was peak - and the bed of rice it was on was just as delicious! The staff were very attentive and made us feel welcome! It honestly was the perfect lunch date with my wife 😁 this place IS the secret downtown gem you’ve been looking for 🔥
This place is phenomenal! Hands down the best sushi I’ve had downtown, I got the Vivian roll and it does not disappoint. The presentation was beautiful and the restaurant itself is a great place to have an intimate casual meal. The staff is also very kind and helpful. I can’t wait to go back and try more here, an absolute gem.
I'm town for LA ComicCon and did my usual research to scope out what's around and amongst the many sushi places near LA Live downtown, the reviews drew me to a small, unassuming hole-in-the-wall place. It did not disappoint. I add my voice to those singing their praises. The place is small but the food is amazing. I was able to spend a few minutes chatting with the owners and they are wonderful people who you can immediately appreciate how much they are personally invested providing an amazing sushi meal and time permitting chat with you. Something we don't get enough these days. If you're into sushi and find yourself in downtown LA, this is a MUST visit location.
Sushi is so good! Fish is extremely fresh! The chef prepares it with care, husband and wife and the lady is serving. Such a pleasure to have found this spot. I RARELY go to the same restaurant twice. Since I go on business trips I always like to explore as much as I can. But this place… I was here three times in a week!! Must visit if you are in DTLA
