People make the difference. First place in a while to have 89 octane, ethanol free, gas. So topped off tank. Dock hand was helpful. Came in from the north via a nearshore channel. This avoids the nearshore submerged town with the church steeple which I have met personally on a previous trip. Marina had few boats, so they put us in a covered slip rather than the uncovered transient dock. I was thinking about all the things I could do in the shade, I forgot about the radio antennas. Fortunately one of two survived. We got a good deal on a two bedroom townhouse for a few dollars more than a lodge room. Very comfy. Lots of space and a full kitchen. Restaurant was only open during dinner hours in October. So we got stuff to go for lunch the next day. My wife is vegetarian, so had to make a meal from sides. Marina has pizza, but they were out of most sides at the end of season.

We just spent three nights there and had a wonderful stay. They were very friendly and helpful. The front desk ladies were exceptionally pleasant. The cabin was spotless and the beds were so comfortable. Will definitely be back soon

My family's have been going to Morris Resort and Marina since 2015. We have always enjoyed our men's fishing trip to Morris. Every other year since 2015 me my son, my uncles, and male cousins and friends, from AL, IN and MI will come together at Morris for 1 week to fish and reconnect with each other and have a awesome time. NICE place and good staff.

We stayed one night in the lodge before moving into one of the houses. The lodge was very loud with the event room being in there and kids running through yelling. Once we moved into the house we discovered the toilet was leaking, but the maintenance was wonderful. We informed the office the next morning and when we got back that evening we had a whole new toilet. The slips at the marina are well maintained and all the staff were very friendly and polite. Overall, I would highly recommend this place but would pick a house over the lodge any day.

We have been coming here for years. We love it. Only issue we have had for the last 2 times are the outside decks and stairs leading into our cabin. They need attention. Other than that, we love spending our family vacations here.. Love the proximity of the lake, pool, miniature golf, playground, and places to just run around and play for our grandchildren. There is a resturant on site. The staff are always eager to assist and take a minute to interact with us...
