Great market with excellent house made Italian dishes. This place has been around for a century and as far back as I can remember my parents and grandparents have gone here. The lasagna, degos, and pizzas are excellent. Premade and prefrozen for your convenience. Also don't sleep on the liquor prices!
Lots of selections. $11.99 a lb. T- bones, Great meat prices. Smaller prices on most everything compared to your regular liquor store, and they have the rebate program. Bought $200 worth and got rebates for $55.
Ran dry at our Airbnb, needed cold beverages. Nearest liquor store offered one-stop alcohol, dancing girls, pot and gambling...no thanks. Morelli's to the rescue. Walked in, immediately saw a first class deli counter and coolers of cold beer, felt right at home. Grabbed some libations then perused the store, found steak seasoning to take back home to Indiana and man it was good. If I ever get back to St. Paul I'm heading to Morelli's. I recommend.
My family has been going here as long as I can remember (proud East side Italians) and Morelli’s is just the best! In addition to their low prices on liquor, they have also have a great deli (we always get olives, peppers and cold salads here for appetizers and to bring to parties, picnics, etc) and delicious frozen pizzas. They have lots of mixers, garnishes, etc. I’ve also had family members who bought all the liquor here so wedding receptions and saved a lot of money. Make sure to bring cash otherwise they also have an ATM on site.
Always worth a visit, stopped on a late Saturday morning. Great selection and well worth the trip. The take home pizza was great and I will definitely try again. Plenty of other frozen take home options as well. Great service, just remember cash only but an ATM right at the front door.
