At 65, I joined Mountainside Fitness of Scottsdale to improve my health and to help relieve the pain I was experiencing due sciatica and tennis elbow. After training with Essence Johnson for 3 months, I am now virtually pain free and well on my way to reaching my fitness goals. Essence is always punctual and my training sessions have been challenging, rewarding and fun! Also, the staff at Mountainside fitness are helpful and welcoming.
This is an official shout out to Caitlynn and Elliott, the Saturday night crew a couple weeks ago when the entire building was looking especially shiny, tidy and fabulous! Pavilions had been my home base Mountainside for ages and it looked the best it’s ever looked! (No exaggeration!!) There was not one cable attachment or piece of equipment out of place on the gym floor, not one stray piece of toilet paper on the floor in the ladies room, everything fully stocked and smelling fresh, towels fully stocked in all towel spots, no dust bunnies anywhere to be seen. They have both also been in the upper echelon of friendliness compared to others as of late! It’s Mountainside team members like these two that make us members feel well taken care of and are outstanding representatives of the MSF brand! Management, Pget Caitlynn and Elliott some recognition, and consider having them handle training your new hires in the future! If only all MSF staff was as great as these two! Caitlynn and Elliott, keep up the great work! We members really appreciate all you do!
I have been a Mountainside fitness member for a little bit and I really loved this location! Great amenities and great staff! Caitlyn is so friendly and made an effort to remember my name. It is such a welcoming gym! I recommend over any in the area!!
This gym is hands-down the cleanest and best-maintained one I’ve been to in the area. The staff is genuinely friendly, the equipment is almost never out of order (and when something does break, it’s fixed fast), and you can tell they truly care about the people who come in. It definitely feels like a locally owned business where the owners take real pride in what they’ve built. I joined recently because of the new amenities, and they’ve already exceeded my expectations. The red-light therapy has made such a noticeable difference in my acne scarring, the tension in my shoulders, and even my cellulite. And the cold plunge—while brutal in the moment—has seriously boosted my energy throughout the day. I honestly couldn’t recommend this gym more. They’re doing amazing work, and it shows.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been a Mountainside Fitness member on and off since 2020, starting with their first Scottsdale location, and I’ve never had such great customer service as I did with **Leo Rosowky** at the Indian Bend Pavilions location. He's an extremely valuable asset to this facility. He unfroze my membership on the spot, helped my friend join with a promotion, and explained all the amenities and add-ons clearly. Due to the fact I'd had my membership on freeze he pushed out my annual renewal fee as well. Super easy, friendly, and efficient! Excited to be back — especially for the **new infrared sauna** at this gym. Thanks, Leo, for making it such a great experience!
