DO NOT GET A CURLY HAIRCUT HERE! I came in for a haircut to get layers while maintaining the most length possible. I left with half of my hair gone and a shelf in my hair. I have one section of hair that is short and does not blend into the rest of my hair and then another section that is long underneath it. If you have a tighter curl I do not think they are able to your hair. I waited years after getting a botched haircut just to get another one that can’t be blended unless I want to lose several more inches of my hair. The staff was nice but it wasn’t until I got home that I was able to see how truly bad the hair cut was. I knew it was sonic shorted than I had wanted. But there’s nothing to be done about all the hair I lost. I also wanted my hair to be rounded out at the bottom and somehow I was left with two extremely long sections in the middle and short in the side making very jagged shapes rather than a smooth line. While Amanda was so sweet I do not recommend anyone else getting a curly hair cut until she’s had more practice.
This was our first experience at the salon, and we couldn’t be happier. I took my 8 year old daughter to see Sara and get a curly cut, and she did a great job! My daughter was a little nervous going into the appointment, but told me after she loved how Sara talked to her and explained everything, making her feel comfortable and the appointment enjoyable. Her hair looks great, and she asked if we can come back again the next time she needs a haircut. We will definitely return!
One hairstylist was late by at least 30 mins, and she was told to come early. I got there 10 mins earlier, and was texted by her pretty last minute. The reasoning she gave was traffic, but there was no professionalism by leaving the house earlier. The service was fine. Everyone else in the salon seemed nice though. Otherwise no other complaints.
I loved my hair for the first time in my life after my cut with Cree. Curly, dry, thin--the trifecta of challenges but she's a miracle worker. Even better, with her suggested products and styling tips, I could come close to replicating my new style. Wish I'd found her sooner!
I just got my first DevaCut with Sara and I couldn’t be happier! She did an incredible job, she really took the time to understand my curls and gave me a cut that brought them to life. The salon itself is warm, welcoming, and such a comfortable space to be in. Everyone was so friendly and professional. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!
