We frequently pick-up dinner from Noor Indian Fusion's Oakland location which is pick-up/delivery only. Ordering online on their website is simple and the food is ready quickly. The portions are generous and the food is delicious.
From the start, this place was a mess. When we called to place an order, the girl on the phone asked for our name (which we carefully spelled out), then oddly asked if we were dining in or taking out, even though this location doesn’t have dine in service. She also asked how many people were eating, which again made no sense for a to go order. When we arrived, there was no one to assist. After calling again multiple times, the same girl apologized and said our order “didn’t go through” and would need to be made now, which would take another 10 minutes. We waited, only for a worker to come out repeatedly calling out a completely different name. After the third time another person brought him back out and when I asked how he had a different name, he just didn't care. He did not apologize for what had transpired. By the time we finally got our food, 45 minutes had passed and food was cold. The whole experience was chaotic, disorganized, and dismissive. I’ve never seen such poor service. Definitely won’t be returning.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was seriously impressed. The chicken biryani was flavorful and cooked just right — honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. I also got the butter chicken and garlic cheese naan, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. No complaints at all. Really happy with the food, and I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!
I just ordered the chicken biryani because it has rice and chicken together and it’s great! I just found my new favorite lunch dish in the area. Man that is good. And when you say medium spice you get legit Indian medium which means pretty spicy and I LOVE IT! Good job. I’ll be back for more very soon. 👍👍👍
Delicious vegan options! The food was so good. I got it delivered so I'm not sure about the atmosphere of the restaurant. But it was so tasty! The Aloo Chole is incredible!
