I've studied performance in Further and Higher Education since 1993 on and off and since then I have also maintained a working life in Entertainment of various kinds. NSCD stands out to me as a place that delivers a world class standard of Dance education along with being a really welcoming, safe and inclusive place. I started my journey round the corner in the former Thomas Danby College and know the area well and am aware how long standing the status of Dance is in the local community which is also one of the liveliest in the North. I would recommend anyone at all to study here
My daughter has attended a summer school here. She had the best experiences: teaching methods, facilities, staff, atmosphere were all at the highest level of professional. Highly recommend.
Visiting this prestigious dance school for the first time, I enjoyed a Vegan lunch in their wonderful little café. The catering and hospitality team are very friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent quality and reasonably priced. The upcoming programme of shows is exciting and extensive with dance styles to suit and enthral all tastes.
