Noteworthy Music has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself this year. I came in as a complete beginner, not knowing what to expect, and I leave every lesson feeling more confident, supported, and genuinely inspired. Julie, my piano teacher, is incredible. She doesn’t just teach piano — she teaches emotion, expression, and connection. She has this unique gift for making music feel personal and meaningful, and she always meets me exactly where I am. Julie makes me feel understood, encouraged, and believed in, even on the days I doubt myself. A special thanks to Pete as well — he is always so warm, welcoming, and kind every time I walk in. Together they create a space that feels safe, supportive, and full of genuine love for music. Whether you’re starting from zero or returning after years away, this is the place you want to be. Every lesson feels like growth, not pressure, and every visit feels like coming home. If you’re looking for more than just piano lessons — if you want to learn, feel, and truly enjoy the beauty of music — I couldn’t recommend Noteworthy Music more.

Julie is incredibly kind, thoughtful and talented! She is so considerate as a teacher and really puts effort into understanding the needs of each of her students. She knows when to give an extra push and when to so show extra support. I myself am a slow and nervous learner and she has been so welcoming and encouraging to me. On top of that just getting to hear her talents is a treat. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is excited but shy to learn like me.

We absolutely love Julie! She is a fantastic piano teacher, especially for toddlers. She is incredibly patient, always encouraging, and makes learning fun and enjoyable. Her true passion for music is infectious, inspiring our kid to love playing and improving. Plus, her flexibility with scheduling has been a huge help for our busy family. Highly recommend!"

Julie is a wonderful teacher and meets the person at the level that they need to begin in their personal journey in learning vocal and piano, whether that is at a beginner child level or as an adult. These private lessons for me as someone over 40 were perfect for what I needed to jump start my attempt at learning piano. Her lessons are on point and she focuses on the place I needed to start, and I felt like I progressed very well in the short time that I had in taking lessons from Noteworthy Music. Julie and Peter are wonderful! Julie has been teaching me piano for a few months now and she's an incredible teacher. Very patient and encouraging, and always keen to work on building good habits! Phenomenal place to learn music for anyone of any age!
