I had a great experience with Oakland Glow! Katie Guided me through the steps with thoughtfulness and patience, taking time to answer my questions while also educating me on the process and expectations for final results. While I had a concept in my head of what I wanted my brows to look like based on how I was using make up to fill them in, Katie helped me to understand how the final product would look and provided me with different options. I did end up taking her advice, and I am super glad that I did. The key for me was to be patient and trust the process. My eyebrows look natural and effortless, and not having to do them every morning has been such a game changer! Photos include eyebrows, pre-micro, blading. And final results.
I have had my brows done by Katie for the last few years and have had nothing but great experiences at Oakland Glow! Katie is a thoughtful artist, and really works with your preferences to make sure you are comfortable with your look while also making recommendations that she thinks would complement your brow goal. She provides clear and thorough instructions for prep and post-care. Katie is also fun to talk with during the session. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a natural brow look!
Grateful to have found Katie and Oakland Glow - I have been coming to this place for years now. The combined skill and art of microblading and the trust you need to have with the artist is an unusual and hard to find combination - and all of it exists here. Katie is an *excellent* communicator with your best interest at heart. I've loved the natural looking (but way better) appearance of my brows following every visit. The vibe of the studio is clean and serene. Highly recommend.
I love Katie! I've gotten my eyebrows microbladed by her a few times now and she truly does an amazing job. My eyebrows look incredibly natural, which is crazy because I have almost no brow hairs--and what I do have are extremely thin. It's been a huge confidence boost to wake up with perfect brows. I seriously feel like having eyebrows has solved 65-80% of my insecurities. I cannot recommend getting microbladed by her enough.
After becoming a mama & having an active little one I needed a new make up routine to get ready quickly. Katie is an amazing artist & has a magical gift for making my brows look extra natural. It is actually life altering to me! I love my brows, the color is perfect. I feel like I have my youthful brows back & best of all I dont have to fill them in anymore!
