Stag was great there are issues with discharge. You would like they would want folks out of the lobby!!! We were seen and Tylenol on board then waited over an hour just to get out.. not enough staff to get folks out and on their way. Increase staffing!
I am a 70 year old female Veteran Nurse retired. I saw a dike doctor real unhappy doctor name S. Stein. She has a horrible reputation on the internet. Surprise she is still even there. 👁️They protect her. Adam has yet to return my call about her in patient experience smh. I brought my paperwork in regarding severe leg pain. The medicine I had ran out of. And for some pain relief. The Tylenol was not working on severe cellulitis. She was to come out to talk to me. Never did, left me sitting for days in there. I got up and asked the friendly staff lady with the pink hair. She said she didn't give you the pills. She gave you a gel and a patchi told her both didn't work on the severity of the pain. The nice lady went to find her and she said I am not giving you anything for pain?? I said I only need a few until I see another doctor orthopedic Monday. She said No!! Sign this paper. I said no and walked off. No compassion and I needed a wheelchair?? Visible injured leg noted. Don't go here, they have jokes. And don't care like other people said.
Parking is a nightmare. There is not enough parking for visitors. This hospital does not have a parking garage.
Definitely 5 stars for O’Connor hospital considering they are belongs to the county hospital system! It is clean, efficient and friendly service that we received. Signage for directions are clear. Personnel are very helpful when you asking for directions. There are many photos displayed in the hallway to show the history of this hospital which was very interesting. Large parking structure next to the emergency entrance which pretty full at all times, we almost need to drive all the way to the top to find a space to park!
Service: The receptionist was a nice guy. He was helpful. The nurse that assisted my girlfriend was also polite and nice. The process however seem really slow. Restroom: There is 2 restroom that are unisex. It wasn't the cleanest restroom, but it was decent. The restroom light could be a little bit brighter. Amenities: There are free local phones to use. They even have a payphone. There is a soda vending machine and a snack machine. Most snacks are about $1. There is free hand sanitizer, free mask and free tissue paper. Ambience: The hospital seems outdated. You have furnitures that look like they came from the 90s-2000s. There are 3 television screens. You can't even hear the sounds. There is a children section, which has the volume up.
