James was amazing! Having curly hair, it's hard to find a stylist with as much skill and expertise to properly style my hair, but James completely understood what my hair needed. I went to another salon the day before and left hating my hair, and James fit me in, listened to me, and was able to work with my hair to give me exactly what I wanted. Truly a lifesaver!

I've been going to Odyssey for a few years now when I go to get my infrequent haircuts. They're salon is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I recently had James cut my hair and I appreciated his kindness and attention to detail, definitely try them out!

I have been a loyal client at this salon for a long time and always had an excellent experience with Suzette. Unfortunately, since she moved, my most recent visit left me extremely disappointed and shocked by how unprofessionally my situation was handled. Before my appointment, I emailed reference photos of what I wanted versus what I currently had. I was very clear—both in writing and in person—that while colour was important, the health of my hair was my top priority, as I have been working hard to grow it. Ally was recommended to me, and during the consultation she also showed me reference photos, so I felt confident we were aligned. During the service, my hair was bleached and I was told to wait 45 minutes. Throughout that entire time, Ally did not check the foils even once. Every hairstylist I’ve ever been to checks on the hair every 10–15 minutes, especially when bleaching. When my hair was finally washed, my scalp began burning, which immediately raised concerns that the bleach had been left on too long. When she blow-dried one section and asked for feedback, I honestly said it was not at all what I had asked for. She became visibly upset and insisted we finish drying first. At this point, my scalp was still burning, but I didn’t want to cause a scene as I’ve been a regular client. Once finished, I clearly stated that my scalp and forehead were burned and that the colour was not what I requested. Instead of acknowledging this, Ally became angry, raised her voice, and denied that my scalp was burned, insisting she had done exactly what I asked for. I showed the burns to two other stylists, who made conflicting comments—one even suggesting there may still be colour left at the scalp. What was most upsetting was not just the outcome, but the refusal to acknowledge something so obvious. A simple acknowledgment or apology would have gone a long way. Instead, excuses were made and responsibility was avoided. Despite this, I paid the full amount for the service with no discount or resolution offered. When I got home, I discovered that not only my scalp, but also my forehead and ear were burned. I will not be returning to this salon. While I previously had wonderful experiences here with Suzette, this visit was handled in an extremely unprofessional manner. I hope this serves as a warning to anyone considering bleaching services at this location.

I've been going to Julia for a little over a year and she does an amazing job cutting my long hair! She is great with recommending what my hair needs and her product recommendations have taken my hair from dull and dry to being extremely shiny and healthy! I always get so many compliments every time I leave the salon. Also super fun that they have exceptionally adorable dogs that visit! Ask for Julia, you will be so grateful you did :)

Abigail did my hair and I am so happy with it!! Exactly what I asked for and exactly what I wanted:) she did an amazing job I trust her so much with my hair, definitely going to her and to odyssey everytime :)
