Ty has been a huge help to me. He really helped me improve my overall technique -- teaching me excellent exercises to build speed and dexterity -- and showing me how to apply music theory to the fretboard, to truly improvise like a pro. Ty can be tough and expect a lot out of you, but if you’re willing to put in the effort he is by far one of the best teachers out there to get you from beginner to advanced in the shortest time possible!

I started lessons with Ty unsure if guitar was something I would fully enjoy. From the first lesson, he helped me organize my goals and within 3 months, taking me from being lost with where to go with the instrument to developing a good baseline of technique and progressing towards my goals, much faster than I would alone. Ty is an experienced teacher who excels at availability, mentorship and keeping students on track. He has also kept me motivated multiple times during my time with him, most of which was earlier on due to my low experience, however, As I progressed further through Tys lessons, I began to develop a passion for the instrument due to the progress I was making. Tys’ approach to learning the fretboard is fun, unique and challenging (depending on how hard you practice). I not only obtained a confidence in my ability to learn the fretboard, I also obtained the confidence to be self sufficient with learning new things, if i choose. I 100% would recommend Ty to any guitarist looking for serious progress as a guitarist and as a musician.

Lessons with Ty were amazing! A great teacher who helped you play what you wanted to play. He was very friendly and willing to teach you anything you wanted to learn on guitar. Coming into the lessons as a beginner I saw substantial progress over my first 3 months! Ty was always responsive and an awesome guy to take lessons from. Highly recommend!

Ich kam mit sehr grundlegenden Gitarrenkenntnissen zu Omaha Guitar Lessons. In den drei Monaten, in denen ich hier Unterricht nehme, haben sich meine Fähigkeiten weit über meine Erwartungen hinaus entwickelt. Ich habe gelernt, lead guitar zu spielen, meine Fähigkeit, einfache chords und barred chords zu spielen, hat sich deutlich erweitert, und ich habe ein Verständnis von Musiktheorie erworben. Mein Rhythm guitar, der meine Hauptfrustration war, ist deutlich besser geworden. Das Einzige, was ich mitbringen musste, war Zeit und Mühe. Wenn Sie ein besserer Gitarrist werden möchten, empfehle ich Omaha Guitar Lessons wärmstens.
