Extremely disappointed in the customer service of Orkin. For nearly a month I have been leaving messages with their call center and voicemails at the local Winnipeg number to book a follow-up appointment for the mouse program that I have purchased. No one seems to return calls and the 24-7 hours is a joke. It is a call service where they take all of your information and tell you someone will call back... But they don't. I have several bait stations set up at my house that haven't been checked for over 4 weeks when the tech instructed that he wanted to come back in 2. The techs that came to my residence were friendly and seemingly knowledgeable about my mouse problems. However for $450+tax the amount of consultation and inspection done for entry points and exclusion is pretty minimal and basic.
She was patient with us. Cats kept sneaking back in the house, had to keep rounding them up. Normally they like going outside but it was raining. So patience is her virtue along with friendly & professional
I contacted the four pest control firms that were recommended by a University of Manitoba entomologist. I chose Orkin because the initial person I spoke to was very knowledgeable and confident, they use a biological agent, steam if required and have a bed bug detecting dog available. I met Brittany a month ago and today she inspected and gave my house a bill of approval. And I can call back if we happen to find any in the next few weeks.
Orkin was very good. They responded to my issue in a timely manner and Brittney was amazing. Everything was explained in detail and we knew what the procedure would entail.
Very disappointing customer service. I was given a 2-hour appointment window today, but no one showed up. I tried calling multiple times, couldn’t reach anyone, and had to leave messages on both the local and national numbers. I finally sent an email myself and only then got a response saying it was “too rainy” to come and asking me to reschedule. No proactive communication, no courtesy call, nothing. If weather makes a visit impossible, that should be communicated clearly and promptly—not left for the customer to chase down answers. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience.
