Highly recommend! Staff was excellent! Captain was funny and informative. Boat was very well maintained. Food was delicious! Excursion was wonderful, not too short, not too long. Grounds while waiting for boarding were pleasant and well maintained, & easy to get to. Definitely would do again!
On August 4, 2025, our group participated in the Mississippi Queen Margarita Fiesta Cruise and found it to be an excellent experience. The crew was courteous and attentive throughout the trip. The captain shared insightful historical information about the various landmarks along the route, making the journey both engaging and educational. The vessel offers sufficient space for guests to move comfortably while still maintaining an intimate setting. Parking was readily available at the nearby city lot. Passing through the Lower Saint Anthony Falls Lock was a standout feature of the cruise. Overall, our group thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and would highly recommend this experience.
We took the 90-minute tour on the Minneapolis Queen. Wonderful, fun experience for the whole family. Super friendly, attentive staff. Informative tour. There is a beverage and snack bar on the boat serving great drinks. There is also a nice, clean bathroom on the boat.
Did the pizza night cruise for date night. Plenty of PAID parking, located near park, trails, and volleyball courts, and the area is full of insects. The boat ride was smooth, no motion sickness happening. The ride was decent, not much to look at. The river always looks dirty because it has been, comes with a smell at some point during the trip. The sky was beautiful on this day with the perfect temperature and slight breeze. Plenty of seating for the size of boat, as long as not at capacity. Keep interior design, watch your step! I got rocked walking into cabin downstairs. Served up lukewarm Papa John’s pizza and salad. Had a decent amount for people to help themselves. Wasn’t feeling it myself. No chef mic at least? The drinks were drinks, taxin. Didn’t see anywhere that said you couldn’t BYOB 😶🌫️ The trip was aight, would I do it again…if someone invites me. Not a bad experience to have once in your life.
Such a Great Experience! We had an amazing time on the Friday Night Dinner Cruise aboard the Minneapolis Queen! From the moment we stepped on board, the crew was friendly and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The boat itself was super clean and well-kept, which made the experience even better. It was so relaxing cruising down the Mississippi River, taking in the views of the Minneapolis skyline while enjoying a great meal. Speaking of the food—it was fantastic! The appetizers were a great start, the stuffed chicken and beef tenderloin were both cooked perfectly, and the petite desserts were the perfect little sweet bite to finish it off. Booking was really easy, and everything was well-organized from start to finish. If you’re looking for a fun and unique night out, I highly recommend this cruise. We’ll definitely be back!
