I was in a pinch trying to find a spot for my 6 year old Pit to stay after Christmas. She hasn’t has a lot of interaction with other dogs but has with cats, so I wasn’t sure how she would react. Chris and Michelle were a breath of fresh air. He met us a few days prior to me going out of town, showed me and Harley (my Pit) around and she seemed excited with the other dogs. Well not so much after drop off. She was scared. Chris and Michelle (as well as his daughter) went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and at ease. He made accommodations that she was comfortable with. They made me at ease as well while I was away. Pictures and videos every day. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Great, great people to care for your pets so you can stay worry free. They leashed walked her to make her feel more at home but let her roam when she felt comfortable.
I highly recommend paws retreat!! They are very welcoming!!! They took lots of pictures and texted us to show us they were having a great time !!! They treat your fur kids as if there were their own !!!! Paws retreat is clean and very well kept inside and out !! We are at ease to leave my fur kids with them again !!!
Our two Boston Terriers - Logan and Mackenzie had a great experience. The owner, Chris, is caring and communicates throughout the stay with pictures and text. our pups enjoyed lots of play and outdoor time. Fur parents can feel good about leaving their babies at Paws Retreat. Thank you Chris we will be back.
My Bo is a highly intelligent pup but he has high anxiety without his family. Everyone here worked with Bo and they did wonderful on trying to keep him happy, he visited for a week with July 4th being his first day. It took a good solid few days for Bo to get adjusted but with the week coming to an end he was going doing great!!!! We brought his bed his pillows and mostly his blanket to help them with his transition for the week. Bo was able to sleep with his favorite blanket and his bone. Making him feel the best while his family was out of the country was PAWS RETREAT Ultimate goal and they passed with flying colors. Like I said my Bo is super anxious without us. I received text messages on Bo progress every day and it made us feel better and pictures of his happy self running around. We will 100% will return and EVERYONE here is fabulous!!!!! Chris the owner actually brought Bo into his home because we were running late from the airport and let him have full run of his yard. Thank you Paws Retreat and everyone there!!!!!! My two fur babies had the time of their lives visiting Paws Retreat! The level of detail and attention Michelle & Chris gave both of our pups made me feel as though they were their own dogs!!! When leaving town, every dog owner wants to know that their fur babies are being taken care of to the best abilities humanly possible and Paws Retreat did just that. I don't think I could ever recommend them enough! They will be my go-to any time I go out of town in the future!!!! THANK YOU PAWS RETREAT! You gave me the ability to have the best family vacations again thanks to a loving trusting place to have my dogs boarded!
