Having only joined Penelope’s Dance Studio just over a year ago it has been such an incredible experience! I have received such constructive feedback which has shown in the immeasurable growth I have seen in my dancing. I have had the opportunity to perform in incredible shows and attend the International Theatre Dance Awards and many more exciting experiences. Penny, Kate and Alex’s teaching style and dedication to helping me achieve my ambitions in the dance world is so wonderful and something that is so special about the studio which I why I have loved every minute I’ve been there. As a student who travels from over 2 hours away multiple days per week, I would definitely recommend Penelope’s Dance Studio to anyone looking to nurture their child’s love for dance in a healthy and happy way!!

The atmosphere is so nurturing, like an extended family, where every child feels seen, supported, and encouraged. The teachers are incredibly skilled and passionate, not only about ballet but also about fostering the growth and development of each student. With a focus on cultivating both technique and confidence in a way that makes learning feel fun and fulfilling. It’s amazing to watch the children grow in their love for dance, gaining poise, discipline, and teamwork skills, all while feeling empowered in their own unique abilities. I’ve seen first-hand how much the teachers care for each student’s success, both in and outside of the studio. It truly is a place where children thrive, not just as dancers, but as individuals. My daughter has just started at Penelope’s and absolutely loves everything about it, she hasn’t stopped smiling since the moment she joined. Penelope is an inspirational teacher and the outstanding quality of teaching is clearly shining through and my daughter’s technique has improved massively in the last few weeks. My daughter would attend Penelope’s dance classes every minute of the day if she could! Penelope clearly shares her heart with her students through dance and not only does my daughter get the passion of ballet from Penelope but she gets a treble whammy with the talent and experience gained from Kate and Alex. She is such a lucky girl we are so proud she has this opportunity to learn and grow at Penelope’s.
There are not enough positive adjectives we can use as a family to describe how we feel about Penelope’s Dance Studio. From the moment I contacted and spoke to Miss Penelope on the phone to the way she teaches with such visible passion is second to none. My 3 teenage daughters are new to the school, having done ballet since they were 2 years old and yet we feel like we have been part of it for years. We have been made to feel like part of the family, the whole vibe and experience is truly wonderful. The outstanding quality of teaching, real life expertise and an unrivalled technique and approach has shown in all of our daughters progression in the last few weeks. The addition of Miss Kate and Alex to add to the variance of experience, skill and talent for the girls is amazing. The entire place feels personal, filled with passion, kindness, nurturing of children and of excellent teaching quality and we are delighted to be a part of it! Thank you to the whole team x
My Daughter’s been attending Penelope’s Dance Studio since she was 2 years old. It’s an amazing opportunity for her to dance in a fun and engaging environment. From the start she’s loved the classes which are excellently constructed for her age making her experience both exciting and educational. This is thanks to the passionate skilled team at the dance studio, led by a wonderful zealous teacher Penelope who inspires and drives greatness – I would thoroughly recommend.
