Eileen was my nail tech and provided a wonderful mani-pedi and was very accommodating to trying a fun desert-themed design on my gel manicure. My gel manicure lasted about 10 days before polish on one nail lifted but the rest of them went strong for about 2 weeks! While I was there a lovely hair stylist also gave my dehydrated curls some love while I was getting my nails done with some hair oil and a sample of some curl cream. All the staff seem to collaborate and work well together and enjoy each other's company and I look forward to visiting again next time I'm in Phoenix!
I found this place thanks to my sister. Jocelyn has cut my hair twice now and it has been exactly what I wanted each time. The first time I went in I had an uneven bob and she showed her knowledge and expertise by explaining how to fix it. Additionally, she was so patient with me (I get anxiety when cutting my hair) and listened to all of my concerns.
Update: my hair is so fried since being here and I had to cut off 4 inches to revive my hair. I wish I never walked into this place. I still have not received an apology. Worst decision of my life. This place came highly reccomended from a friend of a friend. So I know they do good work as her hair is so perfect. Jen is awful. Idk if it's the conversation of talking about movies where she needs to mention her husband likes the same stuff as me (okay?), but she bleached my hair to where the color is skunk patterned. I don't understand how I went there 2 or 3 times for a consultation and she was constantly suggesting something else. She pushed me to bleach my hair without telling me it's bleach. She very cheekily said 'does it burn?? people say it burns lol' yeah bc it's bleach and you're telling me it's a 'special color'. The hair washer person also called Jen over to show her how my hair is virgin at top and dyed (which I mentioned!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and idk how they smile and let you leave looking bad. The lack of professionalism here is awful. I spent a lot of money and was a good client; I don't deserve to walk out looking awful. to make it worse. the owner, the dude, yelled and screamed at me that they don't need me as a client and offered a full refund instead of fixing my hair. awful insecure people and owners. will never come back and I'll definitely spread the word how weird this place is. Don't gossip about your clients to me either! Talking about the person who referred me is bad business.
I have been seeing Lluvia for a few years, having followed her from another salon. She is so talented! She took my hair from red to a more manageable honey/strawberry blonde. I brought a photo of what I wanted and she did everything to make sure she got it just right. She is thoughtful and meticulous and takes time to discuss what is achievable with my hair. She is so skilled with color and haircuts. I trust her completely. She also understands that I am on a tight budget and helpfully breaks down the cost for me. She is such a kind person, too. The salon is lovely but I go for Lluvia, I would follow her anywhere.
When I fly into Phoenix, is always one of the first places I look forward to. There is something so uniquely special about this salon — it’s rare. Perry and his team greet you with the warmest, genuine smiles… and you instantly feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of. The atmosphere is elevated, but still incredibly kind and human. People are happy here — you feel it in the energy immediately. Every single stylist + esthetician is knowledgeable in their craft — hair, skin, nails — but also deeply present with you as a person. Perry salon is the kind of salon where you leave not just looking better… but feeling more you. Feeling more beautiful. Feeling more held. I love going there. I would highly recommend anyone experience this team. I adore everyone there. This salon is something rare — and Phoenix is lucky to have it. Thank you Lluvia for such a wonderful service! Excellent work very talented!
