I ordered the Patate with pancetta and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of the potatoes, pecorino, and the herbs was perfect, and the pancetta added so much flavor. The crust was just right — crispy on the outside and soft inside. I really enjoyed every bite and would definitely order it again. Highly recommend with a Peroni beer!
Roasted cauliflower starter was delcious and maybe the best I have ever had. Came for the pizza though. 12" sausage pizza for $19 means I had high hopes. The flavor of the pizza was on point, great job. The crust was floppy, but the edge was crispy and airy. Good pie, but size for price is a little unbalanced in my opinion. I also tried this one. Stracciatella: tomato sauce, hand-pulled stracciatella (burrata filling), California extra virgin olive oil, black pepper Looks interesting, but wasnt a fan of it myself. It didn't taste bad. The only moment of real 'meh' was a few bites were a little cold, noticeably. Canned soda I ❤️ because I don't have to worry about cleanliness of the soda fountain. Overall, it was good pizza. For the price I would like a bit more pie, but maybe that is the new norm with the cost of everything increasing?
Pizza da Gloria on the Hill is proof great lunch special still exist. I don’t shop for specials but this is a true special. Salad + pizza for $23 that could feed me until next week! That’s crazy! I went with cheese pizza with jalapeno and the creamy Italian salad and chef’s kiss. Joe Kurowski clearly learned something in the “Michelangelo of dough” masterclass because this crust is art. One of my fave pizzas in the city. Don’t you dare sleep on the vibe at this place. The patio is fantastic.
Came here on a date night and the atmosphere on the patio is amazing. We ordered garlic cheese bread, sausage pizza and the seasonal peach/prosciutto pizza. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and we can’t wait to go back!
This is a small place pumping out delicious in house made food. We started with the meatballs, roasted Brussel sprouts and the creamy Italian salad. The meatballs were moist and had a great texture. The sauce was just the right amount and had a little spice to them...just the way I like them. The salad was outstanding and not like a salad I have had before. Great toppings and such great dressing. The sprouts were on another level of delicious and I can say hand on heart the best I have ever had out. They were charred just right and were not bitter as sprouts can be at times. I got the sausage pizza and added mushrooms. That was the right choice for sure. The sausage was perfectly cooked and the flavor was spot on as well. The crust was thin but not the thin St Louis style thank goodness. It was Neapolitan style and had the beautiful blisters feom the wood fired oven. Absolutely outstanding place all around. Will be back for sure.
