Planet Fitness in Newark an der Broad St. 520 ist ein geräumiges Fitnessstudio mit zwei Etagen (Keller und Obergeschoss), moderner Ausstattung, einem Sonnenstudio und Massagesesseln. Die Besucher loben Sauberkeit und freundliches Personal, insbesondere Nilcy, die Gäste morgens begrüßt. Obwohl gut gepflegt und beliebt, berichten einige Gäste gelegentlich von Engpässen bei Toilettenpapier und von Änderungen der Raumanordnung nach Aktualisierungen, mit gelegentlichen Schließungsmitteilungen.

Nice place to get your workout done. Convenient location in Newark. This gym has all types of machines distributed in two floors. It gets a little busy after 4pm. If you go in the morning, you'll get to meet the nicest person in the gym: Nilcy. She is in charge of keeping the place clean and she exceeds in it. She is always welcoming to all guests and always has a smile on her face. I prefer to go in the mornings because I know the place will be nice and clean because of her.
This gym has a lot of potential. It is spacious, has two floors (a basement level and an upper level), and overall it is kept fairly clean. However, the experience would be much better if the staff paid more attention to basic details, such as making sure there is always toilet paper in the bathrooms, which is quite uncomfortable when it’s missing. These small things make a big difference. I recommend it for its space and facilities, but it definitely has room to improve in organization and attention to detail.
An absurd joke this place. I was there for approximately 45 or so. Had to leave because my ended. On the way I was searching for a bathroom because the establishment is poorly constructed. I was advised by one of the employee that it's downstairs and I could just go downstairs. In the midst of this, a second out of nowhere turned and wanted me to scan my ID again which of course I just did. Perhaps this is policy in Newark or maybe it's just a discrimination. I'll phone Planet fitness Headquarters and advised them of this. The email below is invalid
Gym has been closed for 2 days. Wonder if we’re going to get credit. I didn’t see any notification to members that went out. Just wasted 30 mins of my day. Update: it looks like we got a lot of new equipment which is great, the only downside is there’s placement of the cable machines. They were mostly removed from the view of the mirror so you can’t see what you’re doing when working out on most of the cable machine equipment. The pull up bars were moved downstairs, there’s only one on the main floor. Would have been great if they would have put a pull up station between the 2 big cable machines on the main floor. Looks like it was designed for that. But overall it’s a great overhaul.
Haven't had an issue with staff, the place is clean smells good provides cleaning materials for machines. Have not had an issue with other gym goers. I've tanned, the massage chairs are amazing I've sat in them for over an hour. State of the art equipment I wish this was open 24/7
