Really great place. Even with a full parking lot, it never seems crowded inside. Newer and varied equipment, super clean, great staff. I will be back and highly recommend
I love the no pressure, helpful atmosphere. The crown meter helps me plan times that fit my needs. I think every person should go through a free DIY plan with Regan. Such great tips beyond machine use, even for the experienced user.
I recently visited Planet Fitness as a guest and had a positive experience. However, when I attempted to change locations and visit the Maplecrest Rd Fort Wayne branch, I was treated poorly by the staff. Unfortunately, I perceived that the staff, specifically two-thirds of the females at the front desk, were not only rude but also appeared to racially profile me, denying me entry/membership based on my skin color. Their behavior was abrupt and unprofessional. While I understand that not having a full pass may be a valid reason for denial, I was taken aback by their swift decision to turn me away without offering me a membership opportunity. The staff explicitly stated that it was not their responsibility to sell me a membership and asked me to leave. As a result, I would advise individuals of color to exercise caution when considering a visit to this location.
#139 of my PF Travels! Great location, great use of split floorplan [cardio and weights seperate areas] I am getting used to the New Matrix weight machines. Some fit well, some don't. But as in any gym, make do, use what works. The New Calf machine is great.🙂 Had a great chat Alexis and Marissa. Both were happy and engaging from the time I walked in, til leaving. 😎 My only complaint would be the New Smith Machines. There is a bar on one side that makes using/entering the machine one-sided 😕 ** See pic**
Love this gym! Everything is always clean, the equipment is sanitary and functional, the staff are kind, and the members are respectful (no wandering eyes/creepy stares/machine hogs/etc.). I fully enjoy spending three days a week here and normally occupy the space for 1.5-2 hours. I have never had to wait for a machine or space to free up and there is always a clean locker ready for me to use. Only complaint is that the waiter from the fountain machines is not the best tasting in the world - can always bring your own, though, if that’s something you’re picky about. Have yet to use the tanning beds, but the massage chairs are very worth the extra membership fee!
