Place has a calm and subtle vibe, with no unnecessary noise or fuss. The overall experience is really good, and the weekly coffee scheme is the icing on the cake.
Disappointing first impression. Placed our order, 2 iced coffees. Only us in the shop, then noticed the staffs friends come in and order, who were then prioritised and served their order first. So 15 minutes later we get the coffees, pretty small for $6.59 and they forgot to add the sweetener 🤦 Could have ignored the poor service and size if it was at least good coffee but on top of all that to not even get the order right was the final straw. Slow service, small serving, average coffee.
Please Say Please is a cool little CBD hideaway with great coffee, friendly staff, and a fun, creative menu. A solid spot for an afternoon pick-me-up. A neat hole-in-the-wall café tucked right into the heart of the city, perfect for a quick stop when you need a refresh. Food and Drink (4/5): We grabbed an iced latte which was excellent, smooth and well made. The iced raspberry matcha was refreshing and felt like a healthier option, though it did have a bit too much ice, including one huge chunk. We also tried a chocolate chip cookie, which was tasty and familiar, but with a subtle gingerbread twist that made it a little more interesting. Service (5/5): Super friendly staff who made the stop-in feel welcoming and relaxed. Atmosphere (4/5): Small, casual and cool. Exactly the kind of place you pop into for a quick drink and then keep in mind for next time you’re nearby. A nice little café with good drinks, friendly faces and a chilled vibe. Easy to recommend for a casual city coffee stop.
We dropped by this place for coffee. They also have other breakfast items like toasties and cake. Staff were friendly and the coffee tasted great. The indoor dining area is pretty small and most customers were doing takeaway.
A small cafe mainly for takeaway but still offers two little tables at outdoor roadside. It situates at a busy Grenfell Street, so it's quite convenient to visit. The coffee was quite nice. Happy to come back to buy takeaway orders if I don't need dine-in services.
