I cannot say enough good things about Tammy and the related Starry Family daycare. I have only one child who has been going to Tammy’s since she was five months old. As a first time mom, it was a big leap of faith to spend so much of the day away from my kid, but Tammy and her family quickly instilled a sense of confidence and trust that cannot be understated. When my daughter is in Tammy’s care, I feel as secure as though she were in my own - that is how much I trust and admire these women. My daughter speaks so happily and with so much affection about Tammy and her family, but also all the other children at daycare. I am already sad knowing that someday she will age out to preschool instead of being with a team that so diligently teaches, engages, and loves her so much. Thank you, Tammy!

Our son has been going to Tammy since June 2023 and we love it! We started when my son was 1yr 9 mos and now he is almost 3.5yrs. Tammy is so patient and kind, and engaging with the kids. They go to playgrounds and take walks around North Beach, Chinatown, and Fisherman’s Wharf. Before we started at Precious Babes I took care of my son full time and would see Tammy and her kids at our neighborhood playground all the time. I could see firsthand how good she was with them. Her sisters run another daycare in the unit below (same building) so they combine play lot when they go outside. I like that this allows for more social interactions amongst the children. I speak Cantonese with her but we normally text in English. She mostly speaks Mandarin and Cantonese with my son during the day and I love that he is benefitting from the language exposure. There are a number of English only speaking families at the daycare and I believe they have no problems with communication. I highly recommend Tammy!
